BMW X3 facelift coming up

According to inside info, BMW is going to unveil towards the end of this week a facelifted version of it’s compact SUV, X3 which will go on sale in Europe in the fall while the US market will probably have to wait till the end of the year.

Styling changes will be mild and they’ll include redesigned bumpers and rear light clusters while in the interior, it is said that the X3 will get more quality plastics. More important are the mechanical changes as the X3 will get BMW’s two new 6cylinder petrol engines, a 3.0 that produces 266 Hp (from the 130i) and a 218 Hp 2.5. Also, Europeans will benefit from a new turbo diesel version equiped with the same 272 Hp engine of the 535d model.
